Aerospace English Keywords Analysis across the Decades Based on the Corpus

Abstract

This paper compared the self-established Aerospace English corpus (AEC) with the British National Corpus (BNC) on keywords. By analyzing the keywords of the 480 Aerospace English papers across different decades from the 1960s to 2010s, we find that aerospace science and technology papers in every decade have their own themes, which reflect the focus and the development of aerospace technology over more than half a century.
