Research on Financing Mode of Patent Pledge

Abstract

With the continuous development of knowledge economy, patent right, as the core asset of technology-based SMEs, can solve the financing difficulties of SMEs to some extent. Based on the research status of patent pledge financing, this paper analyzes three modes of patent pledge financing in China and compares their advantages and disadvantages. Then combining with the advanced experience of the U.S., Germany and Japan in patent pledge financing, it provides reference for the improvement of patent pledge financing mode in China. Through the analysis of the financing mode of patent pledge at home and abroad, this paper draws the conclusion that the risk borne by the government in the financing mode of patent pledge in China is too high, which is not conducive to the healthy development of patent pledge financing. China should learn from the scientific risk dispersion mechanism of foreign countries and gradually reduce the government participation.
