Research on the Phenomenon of International Exchange in Higher Education—Case Analysis Based on 30 Graduate Students Attending Academic Conferences Abroad

Abstract


One of the development paths of internationalization of higher education in China is to send a large number of graduate students to participate an academic conference abroad. This paper makes an empirical study on the three-dimensional structure of "pre-trip status", "feelings in developed country "and" return to change "by 30 graduate students to attend academic conference in developed countries, pay attention to the whole international exchange process for graduate students. The study found that graduate students experienced the feelings of "more patriotic after going abroad" that could not be felt at home, and put forward new requirements for their own growth. At the same time, they exposed common problems such as the general low internationalization ability and the excessive beautification of the impression of developed countries. This paper puts forward some suggestions to strengthen education guidance of students going abroad.
