Abstract

By Chinese unique cultural tradition, adults each have an obligation to care and support their elders in economics and security. In the past, family support played an important role. But in the present, family members are fewer and fewer, because of economic development and social change. Now the number of migrant workers has kept enhancement and weakened family relatives so that the traditional family pension mode is destroyed. How to solve the question of raising elders is the key to China. This paper tries to find a solution of Shaanxi Province. At first, it consults lots of reference. Then it launches an investigation in the whole province. It finds three forms intradition provision for the aged, nursing home, community retirement. Through consulting a lot of older adults, it gets community retirement best. At the same time, it has some better provisions, which can help to build and enhance our harmonious society. Older adults can enjoy their old age in peace.
