Analysis on Dust Retention Measurement of Common Plant Leaves in Shenyang
Abstract
In order to reveal the rule of dust retention of greening plants in Shenyang, taking twelve (12) species of common garden plants as testing materials in Shenyang, dust retention ability of different plants and the amount of dust retention of leaves of the same plant at different heights in the enclosed and open environment are studied. The result shows that the average amount of dust retention of unit leaf area of 12 species of common garden plants is 0.3675~5.2536 g·m-2. The amount of dust retention of leaves of the same plant in the open environment is greater than that in the enclosed environment; there is no obvious difference in the amount of dust retention of leaves of the same plant at different heights in the enclosed environment, however, the difference in the open environment is obvious and the lower leaves take the greatest effect of dust retention. The average amount of dust retention of single plant is 2.2541~216.3523g.
