Smart Home Design for the Elderly Living Alone with VR Technology

Abstract

According to the status of the elderly population in the city and their solitary mode, compromising the merits of the virtual reality technology and pattern recognition system in the Smart Home system, integrating sensing technology, digital signal processor control technology real-time data communication technology, so as to realize the human-machine interface in the combination of virtual scene and real home environment and a Smart Home system based on virtual reality for elderly use. The system not only provides the elderly audio visual entertainments and indoor exercise experience, but also enhances more intelligent, interactive innovation system design to meet the needs of the elderly living alone on health and security.
