Calculation of Aerosol Optical Scattering Characteristics

Abstract


The solution of aerosol scattering characteristics has always been a hot topic in the field of atmospheric science owing to its basic status. The difficulty of solving aerosol scattering characteristics is increased. Therefore, there is not yet a unified scattering theory which can be used to calculate various aerosol particles. In this paper, firstly, the basic principles and research progress of existing methods for solving the scattering characteristics of aerosol light are summarized. Secondly, the advantages and disadvantages of these solution methods are compared. Finally, the problems existing in the current research and the future development prospects are analyzed.
