Lateral-torsional Coupled Vibration of a Rotor-rubber Bearing System with Nonlinear Friction
Abstract
The mathematical coupling model of the unbalance rotor-rubber bearing system with lateral-torsional coupling and nonlinear friction force is established. Through numerical calculation, the coupled vibration characteristics of rotor-rubber bearing system with nonlinear friction force and the influences of the main system parameters on self-excited vibration phenomenon are investigated in detail. The results reveal that the self-excited vibration phenomenon of rotor-rubber bearing system will occur under the lower rotating frequency condition. And the self-excited vibration phenomenon can be effectively inhibited through increase the torsional damping coefficient of rubber bearing.
