Analysis of the New-type Urbanization Path in China's West Provinces Based on the Perspective of Interaction Between Urban and Rural Areas—Evidence from Gansu Province

Abstract


The New-type Urbanization is the key step for responding to the requirements of urbanization construction and accomplishing the historical mission of Chinese modernization construction. Gansu, a province in west China, whose urbanization has got great attention and has also enjoyed the support from the state government. The selection of its future path is a top priority, on the basis of drawing on the successful urbanization experience in developed provinces. Based on the elaboration of current development of Gansu Urbanization, this paper is trying to analysis the exposed problems during the process, and make some policy suggestions for promoting the healthy development of the new-type urbanization construction.
