Research on Software Test & Evaluation Simplification Technology

Abstract

Specific to disadvantages of typical methods of test case simplification, analytic hierarchy process is used to conduct objective quantitative evaluation on test case weight in ant colony algorithm and create new method for test case simplification based on functional module coverage rate. This method can be used to simplify the initial test case set, reduce cost of software test and evaluation and improve test efficiency. Finally, a detailed elaboration on implementation procedures of this technology is conducted by using basic operation module of a certain type of system.
