Differential Simulation Model and Application of Stimulation in Shallow Water Drive Reservoirs
Abstract
Based on the remaining oil saturation, crude oil viscosity, reservoir thickness, steam stimulation cycles and other factors affecting the stimulation of shallow natural water drive reservoirs, a method for predicting stimulation by differential simulation theory is proposed in this paper. Through correlation analysis, the main controlling factors with greater influence are selected, and then the differential simulation model is established by simulating the correlation among the influencing factors, and the stimulation prediction is carried out. An example of an oil field in China is analyzed. The prediction results are in good agreement with the actual situation, and the error is 5% -13%.
