A New IoT Method for Economical Library Management

Abstract

The library keeps records of thoughts and ideas, and are therefore the major source from which people obtain knowledge. Currently more and more libraries are installed and full of huge number of books and journals. Thus, managing the books and journals in an economic way is to strengthen management of public library to enhance and strengthen the core competitiveness of the principal means. This paper proposed a new IoT technology based on RFID to accelerate the books and journals searching process in the bookshelf or warehouse. The simulation results and application analysis shows our new proposed technology achieves much better performance than other current RFID systems.
